Addressing urban malnutrition in Uganda is crucial, this initiative has the possibility of eradicating both public and mental health concerns that many families in the different parts of Uganda suffer with. More than 60% of Africa's urban residents live in unprivileged livelihoods with poor living conditions. these families suffer with malnutrition which does not only affect their health but its adverse effects extend to create unbearable financial burden on parents which affects educational prospects of children. this traps families in a vicious cycle of poverty. Malnutrition is a community cry which requires urgent solution, there fore, Our feeding program in Buikwe, where 60% of families struggle with food insecurity, plays a vital role in providing nourishment to vulnerable families.
