(Archaic therapies)

Laura Cuille is a New York State Licensed and Board Certified Creative Arts Therapist currently practicing in Brooklyn, NY.
Born and raised in Paris, France, Laura fell in love with the arts at age 4 and has since used it as a primary means to express herself and communicate with others.
Her primary modality being sculpture, Laura found it fascinating to capture the world through lenses attaining a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography from the School of Visual Arts (2007-2012).
With her passion for dance, sparked by the beat of the Djembe during a trip to Senegal where her mother was raised as a child, Cuillé began merging her need for music, her love for art, and her joy for dance into performance art and large scale installations becoming a Scenographer.
In 2016, after directing and creating multi-sensory experiences through venues and residencies, Laura was called to another adoration, working with children and adolescents.
She graduated in 2019 with a Masters in Creative Arts Therapy (MPS) from Pratt Institute. Since she has worked with children and adolescents in treatments center, schools, and after-school programs and with adults in psychiatric clinics, private practice, and non-profit organizations. Cuillé uses a humanistic, trauma- informed approach inspired by Jungian psychology and psychodynamics in her practice. Laura believes our psychology is directly connected to our physiology using the power of merging visual arts, music, dance, and light to help clients express themselves, address symptoms, explore and process trauma in order to walk the path towards healing, and thriving.

“I was in the South of France ringing in the New Year of 2025 with my family. I had a day where I was processing my own trauma. I was listening to a new favorite artist from Uganda, Dax Vibez on repeat. I followed his page on Instagram and came across Gyenesis Music through a hashtag.
